Experience Royal Comfort at Hotel Anaheim Majestic Gardens near Disney: The Ultimate Family Getaway
Hello, magical families and Disney dreamers! If you’re planning a trip to the enchantment that is Disneyland, let me share a secret that will make your stay as wonderful as the park itself. Welcome to a hotel that’s straight out of a story book, Anaheim Majestic Gardens – a Good Neighbor Hotel that offers an unparalleled blend of royal comfort, exceptional amenities, and family-friendly fun. Whether you’re traveling with tots or teens, this majestic haven is designed to make your Disney experience truly unforgettable. Here’s why this hotel is the perfect choice for both kids and adults, and how you can make the most of your stay!
Royal Comfort: Majestic Themed Décor and Spacious Rooms
From the moment you step into the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel, you’re greeted by a world of regal splendor. The hotel’s majestic theme is reflected throughout, from its royal decor to the enchanting garden area. Think elegant furnishings, charming castle motifs, and a grand atmosphere that makes every guest feel like royalty.
The rooms are equally impressive, offering generous space for families to relax and recharge. Whether you’re staying in a standard room or a more spacious suite, you’ll find plenty of room for everyone to spread out and make themselves at home. The comfortable beds, modern amenities, and tasteful décor ensure that both kids and adults will enjoy a restful stay.
Pro Tip: For an added touch of magic, request a room with a garden view to enjoy the beautifully landscaped grounds and tranquil setting. Some rooms open straight to the garden and you can enjoy your coffee in paradise before the madness of the theme parks. You can also see the fireworks from the hotel, so if your little ones can't make it that late at the theme parks, you can still get a view from the hotel pool/parking lot or even your room if you're lucky!
Delightful Dining: A Royal Feast for All
Dining at the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel is a treat for the taste buds! The hotel features several dining options that cater to all ages. Enjoy a delightful breakfast at the on-site restaurant, where you can indulge in a variety of delicious dishes. Kids will love the fun, kid-friendly menu items, while adults can savor a range of delectable options. Our favorite had to be the breakfast buffet! We fueled up before heading to the parks with delicious options such as breakfast burritos, eggs benedict and a yogurt bar. The kids were fans of the variety of cereal options and the array of pastries (especially the mini-muffins). We were so impressed by the buffet food that we hit it every morning before going to the theme parks. It was also convenient that they opened early enough to still make it to the theme parks before opening. The dining hall had plenty of seating, so we never waited longer than a few minutes to be seated.
For a more relaxed dining experience, the hotel’s café and snack bar offer a range of quick bites and refreshments. And don’t miss out on special themed dining nights – these events often feature character meet-and-greets with Princess Corinne and themed meals that make dining an extra special part of your stay.
Tip: Make dining reservations in advance to ensure you get the best table for Hanagi. The morning buffet crew were also sweet enough to bring a pitcher of water to fill up our water bottles prior to entering the park because it was a scorcher the weekend we went.
Convenient Shuttle Service: Stress-Free Park Access
One of the standout features of the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel is its convenient shuttle service to Disneyland Resort. The shuttle runs regularly (about every 30 minutes), making it a breeze to get to the park and back without the hassle of parking. This is especially great for families with little ones who might tire easily or for anyone looking to maximize their time in the park. It also saves you on daily parking at the theme parks and you avoid the long trek from the parking lot to the front of the theme park gates.
Tip: Plan your park visits around the shuttle schedule to avoid peak times and ensure you have ample time to enjoy all the attractions Disneyland has to offer. A lot of families left the park at around 2-4 and came back around 6, so getting back into the park around that time had longer lines. If you have older kids and can stick it out all day without a break, it’s a great time slot for shorter lines on rides. Shuttle schedules are posted in the lobby, but staff said it runs about every 30 mins.
Why It’s a Perfect Kid-Friendly Choice
This hotel is designed with families in mind, offering a range of amenities and features that make it ideal for kids. The themed pool area is a favorite among children, with its playful design and plenty of space to splash and play. The garden area provides a lovely setting for kids to explore and enjoy some outdoor fun. They also have kid-focused activities hosted by the hotel, such as storytime by the fireplace with Princess Corinne and outdoor movie nights on the lawn! They even offer customized experiences where you can reserve a royal audience with Princess Corinne for a royal bedtime story or breakfast wake up call Fridays-Sundays. If you have some time, don’t forget to catch Magic at the Majestic with international champion of close up magic David Minkin.
Tip: Ask about the special kid-focused activities or events the hotel might be hosting upon check in for dates and times to add an extra layer of magic to your visit. Don’t forget to write a letter to Princess Corrine on her special stationary in the lobby and drop it in her mailbox so she can write back (leave your return address on the letter)!
Tips for Staying Close to Disneyland
Book Early: Secure the best rates and room options by booking your stay well in advance to ensure you get the type of room and view you prefer. Anaheim Majestic Garden has a $15 discount for booking directly, but check out their full list of specials here. Don’t forget that both parks require reservations as well as a ticket for entry.
Pack Light: Bring comfortable shoes for walking, a refillable water bottle, and layers for varying weather conditions. Wagons are no longer allowed in the theme parks unless a physical diagnosis prevents the person from being able to walk long distances. If that is the case a team member will help you get your wagon tagged. Strollers are available for rent at $18 for a single and $36 for a double.
Take Advantage of Early Entry: Use Disneyland’s Early Entry option to beat the crowds and enjoy popular attractions with shorter wait times.
Utilize the Disneyland App: Download the Disneyland app for real-time ride wait times, dining reservations, and park navigation. The app is also how you book your rides if you happen to get the lightning pass.
Stay Hydrated and Rested: Disneyland can be overwhelming, so be sure to take breaks, drink plenty of water, and find shady spots to relax. Bring your own refillable water bottle and you can refill it for free with ice water at any of the restaurants in California Adventure or Disneyland to save money!
