A Chic Staycation at Hotel Emblem in San Francisco
San Francisco has always held a special place in my heart. Its vibrant energy, rich culture, and diverse neighborhoods never fail to captivate me. So, when I had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Emblem for a girls staycation, I knew it would be an amazing experience.
From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by an atmosphere that was both inviting and inspiring. One of the highlights of my stay was discovering the Writer's Alcove in the lobby. Tucked away in a cozy corner, it was a treasure trove of literary gems and artistic inspiration. The lobby was filled with books where guests could pick one out to read during their stay and return it at the end. If you want to take it with you, they charge just $10. They even have a book butler.
I was surprised to discover an array of amenities. The Obscenity Bar & Lounge has handcrafted cocktails to enjoy after a day of exploring the city. For a morning pick-me-up, you can head to the Bluestone Lane Coffee Shop connected to the hotel for a delicious cup of coffee paired with a freshly baked pastry. They also provide in-room dining. The hotel's underground concierge can help navigate the city's attractions and plan your itinerary. Other highlights included the use of hotel bicycles for touring San Francisco, an essential oil diffuser with a choice of scented oils, and a meditation bowl for moments of tranquility. A white noise machine, adult or child coloring book, games and more! Whether I was writing a letter on the typewriter or indulging in a relaxing bath with a shower/bath bomb, Hotel Emblem had everything I needed for a truly memorable staycation.
The rooms were filled with chic design and every corner seemed to tell a story. From the bold patterns to the hidden writings scattered throughout the room. My favorite part was the typewriter in each room. You could write a letter on it and they would mail it for free.
Speaking of exploring, Hotel Emblem's prime location made it the perfect home base for my San Francisco outings. Whether I was wandering through Union Square, exploring the vibrant murals of the Mission District, or savoring the culinary delights of Chinatown, there was always something new and exciting to discover just steps away from the hotel.
While street parking in San Francisco can sometimes be challenging, we were able to find street parking around the block by the hotel. It was free over night parking. Valet parking is an option for $75 a day.
I highly recommend Hotel Emblem in San Francisco for anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay. With its vibrant atmosphere, convenient location, and exceptional amenities, it's the perfect choice for a memorable visit to the city.
