Where We Stayed:
We started our adventure by checking in at Knott’s Hotel (8039 Beach Blvd, Buena Park, CA 90620), where the kids instantly fell in love with the pool. We also had fun exploring Knott’s Marketplace, which was just a stone’s throw away. It was a cozy, convenient place to stay and really added to the holiday spirit! 🏊♂️💦 (Huge thanks to @knottshotel for the perfect home base!)
Day 1: Pirate Adventure & Farm-Fresh Dining
We began our holiday fun at the Pirates Dinner Adventure (7600 Beach Blvd, Buena Park, CA 90620), where we enjoyed the Pirates Take Christmas dinner show. The kids were on the edge of their seats as pirates kidnapped Santa and Mrs. Claus, threatening to cancel Christmas! It was thrilling, funny, and full of holiday cheer – a perfect family-friendly show to kick off our trip. Be sure to arrive early to soak in all the pre-show excitement! 🎭🎄 For more info or to book tickets, visit piratesdinneradventure.com.
After the show, we headed back to Thirty Acres Kitchen (8039 Beach Blvd, Buena Park, CA 90620) at Knott’s Hotel for a farm-fresh meal. This place is a hidden gem. The farm-to-table vibe made it the perfect spot to unwind after a fun-filled night. 🌽 Check out more at knotts.com/knotts-hotel.
Day 2: Breakfast, Snow, and Medieval Feasts

Next, we headed to Knott’s Merry Farm (8039 Beach Blvd, Buena Park, CA 90620), where the holiday magic was in full swing. We got to enjoy snow, festive rides, live entertainment, and we even caught a glimpse of Santa. Check the schedule so you don’t miss the ice show and the nightly Christmas tree lighting – such a magical experience! If you’re visiting during the holidays don’t forget to check out the Christmas Crafts Fair! 🎅❄️ Visit knotts.com for all the details.
For dinner, we headed to Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament (7662 Beach Blvd, Buena Park, CA 90620), and it was an absolute hit! The kids cheered on their favorite knights in an action-packed show full of daring stunts, fierce battles, and live falconry displays. The four-course feast was fit for royalty, and the experience felt like stepping back in time. It was a truly unforgettable night! 🏰⚔️ You can find more info at medievaltimes.com.

On our final morning, we made our way to Porto’s Bakery (7640 Beach Blvd, Buena Park, CA 90620) for some of the best pastries the kids have ever tasted.
